Meet Christopher Lloyd

Christopher gives high energy, creative timeline workshops both at primary and secondary level schools across the entire curriculum including history, nature, science, sport, Shakespeare, and British history. INSET workshops are designed for schools interested in developing a more cross-curricular, narrative approach to learning. He is also a regular at literary festivals, gives talks in bookshops and at speech days and parent’s evenings.

Christopher Lloyd, Publisher, Founder of What on Earth Publishing; is a historian, educator and author. His book What on Earth Happened: The Complete Story of the Planet (Bloomsbury, 2008), sold over 500,000 copies. Christopher is an advocate of connected learning. His publishing house What on Earth? publishes in an innovative format for young people using illustrative timelines called Wallbooks, which present a broader view of world history and visualise connections between the past and the present day.
