Travel back to the 1920s with Laura Wood

Laura Wood is the winner of the Montegrappa Scholastic Prize for Children’s Writing. She recently completed a PhD at University of Warwick studying the figure of the reader in nineteenth century literature. She is the author of four novels in the middle-grade Poppy Pym series, A Sky Painted Gold is her debut YA novel.

Laura is available for book signings, panel events, author talks, Q&As and brilliant 1920s themed crafting workshops involving making your own headband and mocktail making. Turn your bookshop or library into a Gatesby-esque party with a visit from Laura.
