Sales and Marketing Assistant

Bounce is the UK’s leading specialist Children’s Sales Agency, representing a range of the best children’s publishers from the UK and beyond.

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and busy team based in Islington.  The role is a cross-departmental role supporting both our Marketing and Sales team. This position is interesting and varied, with scope for career progression within the team.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about children’s publishing and have publishing or bookselling experience.

Duties include:

• You will work with the Senior Marketing Executive, creating Bounce New title order forms and coordinating sales kits for reps and Libraries/Key Accounts as necessary
• Creating marketing materials such as catalogues and flyers
• Supporting the Online Sales Manager to upload new title information and optimise online information
• Running analysis for our Trade Sales team for Key Accounts
• Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks for our client publishers
• Uploading material to sites including the Bounce website (WordPress), Edelweiss, and Bookshop.org
• Following branding guidelines and templates to create professional digital assets for use across social media, email, and the website
• Supporting on the organisation of social media activities across Bounce Company social media platforms, particularly Instagram
• Assist in the organisation of Bounce’s presence at Book Fairs and conferences throughout the year

Experience/skills required:

• Sales experience or marketing experience and a high level of customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Organised with an attention to detail
• Data-driven
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload
• Proactive and able to use initiative.
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud desirable: specifically Adobe Indesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro

The position is based at our London office with the opportunity for one day a week working from home.

Salary: TBC depending on experience.
