Our friendly and experienced team cover the whole of the UK and Ireland and deal with a huge range of retailers.
The Head Office Bounce team handles Key Account Sales where applicable as well as looking after individual retailers, while the Field Team has a special remit to look after heritage, gift, toy and specialist accounts as well as independent bookshops.
Julie has worked for Bounce since 2002 and has trouble describing her role as she is a bit of a jill of all trades! She oversees some publisher relationships, as well as looking after BookTrust and a couple of other special accounts. Julie has recently also become the co owner of a new Children’s bookshop in her home town of Hitchin, Next Page Books.

After doing lots of different jobs (including teaching and owning a bookshop), Tim joined Bounce to look after the glorious Midlands. When not helping get wonderful books to the people of the Midlands, Tim enjoys many things including good coffee, most things pastry-shaped and standing on hills.

Tanya started working at Hammicks Bookshop straight from University where her love of books especially children’s grew, even though she left bookselling for a few years her love of books called her back again. After a short time at an Indie Bookshop she returned to Hammicks to run their children’s department in Epsom, from there she went to work for Scholastic as a field rep for a couple of years. She joined Bounce at the beginning of 2009 as a field rep and then after two children now looks after a number of Online accounts. All of her spare time is spent with the children and running their school PTA.

Chloe joined Bounce in 2020, with a background in children’s bookselling and now looks after UK and European Export accounts. She likes writing books as much as she likes reading them and is the author of three published YA novels.

Louise is our rep for the North of England and also looks after key educational and library suppliers. She joined Bounce in 2016 after 10 years in children’s bookselling. Outside of work she enjoys running, live music and playing the saxophone.

Before joining Bounce in 2022 Katie cut her teeth in publishing during 4 years at The Quarto Group, starting as UK Sales Assistant and eventually making her way across to Export. She is very happy to have returned to the exciting world of UK sales, and now looks after many of our wholesale and gift customers. In her free time, Katie loves going on skiing and walking holidays with her husband, is an active member of her local church in Balham, and has recently taken up watercolour painting – a skill she is still trying to master!

CJ has always been a fan of literature and after receiving a BA in English Language, wished to make her hobby into a career. She joined The Newham Bookshop for five years, working in the Children’s and Young Adult department. CJ is also a passionate traveller, and as the London Sales Representative, is constantly out and about the city visiting Independent Bookshops, Galleries and Museums. Always eager to get books into the hands of the new generation, she is always happy to help with a recommendation.

Emma joined Bounce in January 2023 after graduating from UCL with an MA in Publishing. She loves quirky picture books, especially if they feature a cat! On weekends, she enjoys going to gigs and exploring independent bookshops and bakeries in and around London.

Michaela has worked as a Sales Assistant at a toy supplier, a primary school tutor, a marketing intern within heritage, edtech and educational publishing, amongst other things! She was on the Society of Young Publishers UK committee for three years, overseeing the volunteer organisation for two of those. Michaela was a Printing Charity Rising Star in 2024 and is currently completing a CIM marketing qualification. With over 30 years working in the publishing industry, Sheila has been with Bounce from the very beginning. A passionate promoter of children’s books, she has had responsibility for selling into almost every Key Account and now looks after our Special Sales. Lee has worked in publishing for nearly 25 years. He started as a trainee rep with Excel Logistics before joining Macmillan distribution.
He then went on to work for Transworld and Penguin Random House before joining Bounce in 2015. In his spare time he enjoys reading, holidays in warm climates and playing poker.

Kathleen has been passionate about children’s books and getting children into reading since she started work in the book trade after university. She ran a general independent bookshop with her husband, during which time she specialised in children’s books. Her bookshop closed in 2000 but she later went on to manage a children’s bookshop for several years before becoming a Bounce rep in 2014. Kathleen is the Bounce rep for East Anglia and the Home Counties.

After university Sarah spent 4 wonderful years at Blackwell’s on Charing Cross Road. After moving to Somerset, she joined the small team at Chicken House selling rights and leading export sales. 8 years later she is proud to have worked with authors such as Kiran Millwood Hargrave, Maz Evans and Lucy Strange and helped to sell them around the world.
